Chiropractic care is safe during pregnancy and it is vital to the normal physiological function of both the Mama and baby throughout pregnancy and birth.
Webster Technique is used by trained prenatal chiropractors as a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment of pregnant people. The goal of the prenatal adjustment is to reduce the effects of pelvic imbalance during pregnancy. During birth, pelvic imbalances can affect labor progression, leading to unnecessary intervention. Pelvic imbalance adversely affects uterine nerve function, the structure of the pelvis and may hinder a baby’s ability to gain optimal positioning during pregnancy and birth. The Webster technique helps achieve a state of balance in the pelvis of a pregnant person that may contribute to a safer, easier birth outcome.
Prenatal chiropractors will also have a special table and/or pillows for the pregnant Mama to use during an adjustment so that they can comfortably lay on their stomach without feeling like they are squishing the baby.

Chiropractic is absolutely safe for babies and incredibly important. Babies can be adjusted as soon as they are born; Dr. Kendra has adjusted babies that are just hours old!
Chiropractic is a powerful way for parents to help their children heal naturally from ear infections, colic, asthma, acid reflux, constipation, developmental delays, torticollis, latch challenges and many other problems. If their spine is putting pressure on their nervous system and interfering with their body’s normal functioning, then chiropractic can help them!
If your baby doesn't have any health challenges, chiropractic is a great way to keep the body functioning optimally before problems arise.
Dr. Kendra has extensive training in pediatric chiropractic through the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association.

During the initial exam, Dr. Kendra will have a conversation with you about your concerns and health goals. She will then perform a thorough chiropractic evaluation including a spinal analysis, posture analysis and movement exercises to determine how she can best help you.
Dr. Kendra will review the findings from the exam and come up with an individualized initial care plan that she will present to you on the second visit.
-
This depends on a few things! Your health is Dr. Kendra’s number one priority, Dr. Kendra will make this decision on a case by case basis based on what is best for you.
-
Chiropractic has the best outcomes with regular adjustments, therefore Dr. Kendra doesn’t recommend a “per visit” option. It is similar to doing yoga, one yoga class does not enable you to do a handstand, just as one adjustment does not ensure a healthy spine.
On your second visit, you and Dr. Kendra will spend time reviewing the results from your initial exam. Dr. Kendra will then recommend a care plan based on the subluxations in your spine and your individual health goals.
-
Dr. Kendra is out of network with all insurance companies. She is happy to facilitate reimbursement by providing you with all of the necessary paperwork to submit to insurance, though she doesn’t bill directly.
HSA and Flex plans are accepted.
